We adopted a Siberian from your rescue back in 2004. Sequoia came to
us as our first child at the time and we loved her and treated her as
our first. She was such a joy to have and brought so much warmth to our
growing family as we then had two "human" children a few years later.
Sequoia was laid to rest on Dec.18th 2011. She was only 9 at the time
but a nasal tumor forced us to make the heart wrenching decision to put
her to sleep. Our family misses her greatly and are trying to heal but
we know with time it will get easier. At this point we are trying to
find some closure and felt a letter to the people who gave us the
opportunity to enjoy Sequoia would help. We feel that one day our
hearts will be ready for another dog and hope to find another rescue as
sweet and loving as she was. Thank you again. For more information |
