Yesterday Kiska went to the vet; she couldn't come home.
I've been waiting for this day since last October; she just wouldn't let it come.
She traded her best friend and home for relief from hip dysplasia, arthritis, and muscle loss.
She was just 2 months short of 12 yrs old.
We had her for 11 yrs, a month, and a couple of days.
When we brought her home, she weighed 37 lbs; yesterday, she weighed 42 lbs.
She's now young and fast again, and can reclaim the title of Gray Tornado.
She may be gone but she's still at home here.
EWSR will pick me out to be a new best Husky Dog friend for one of theirs.
