Doc Siberian Husky

Doc Has been Adopted!

Doc is a 6 year old, Blue eyed male Siberian Husky.
Lived the first part of his life as a puppymill stud, then was a sleddog, then adopted by a rescuer who recently died. Lived most of his life on a chain. He's kinda blackish (sable?) and white, blue eyes. Very sweet and affectionate. He is loving the freedom of being able to run and play in my fenced yard without that chain. I bet he will have a second puppyhood--a more enjoyable one.
He gets along well with my other dogs and is a happy boy. (he does not get along with cats!) He has a long, effortless stride--I bet he was a good sleddog. He is looking for a home where he can be loved as a pet and a family member. A home with a runner or x/c skier would be perfect for him! I am fostering him under the auspices of Adopt A Husky West--for adoption info, please email

Doc was one happy dog when he completed the Husky Hike event!
Look! He even got a medal!

He was so happy he began grinning!

Ok let's snuggle!
